Personal privacy continues to be compromised by hidden camera attacks. Voyeurs, stalkers, sex offenders including paedophiles are continuing to use hidden cameras/spy cams and film victims covertly.

Safeguarding Issue

We’ve highlighted this serious privacy compromise and safeguarding issue many times.

However, it seems many organisations remain ignorant of the risks posed and the countermeasures to prevent, deter and detect.

The above are all examples of hidden camera attacks that have been found. What about those organisations who do not recognise the risk and so therefore do not put in place any mitigations or have a procedure for what to do if one of these privacy compromising attacks is found? Who would any victim find liable?
