Due to the nature of our work, Verrimus does not publicly discuss the vast majority of organisations, projects and operations we support. Which means it’s rare for us to provide details of publicaions and publicly available references.
However, from time to time, members of the Verrimus team contribute to public discussions concerning privacy, surveillance, technical security and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM). Expert Commentary on Surveillance, Privacy and Modern Society
Gavin Saul, Government & Technical Director of Verrimus, contributed expert commentary to the BBC Radio 4 documentary series Orwell vs Kafka.
The programme explored themes relating to surveillance, privacy and the increasing role of technology within modern society. The discussion examined how individuals and organisations interact with surveillance technologies and considered the broader implications for privacy and information security.

Leading the Fight Against Corporate Espionage
The Northern Echo profiled Verrimus and its work supporting organisations concerned about technical surveillance threats, information security and corporate espionage.

Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) Technical Security Investigation
In 2013–2014, Verrimus was engaged by Ireland’s Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) to conduct specialist technical security and counter-surveillance activities following concerns regarding the potential compromise of sensitive information and communications. The subsequent findings and related investigations became the subject of significant public, political and media attention within Ireland. Public reporting and official inquiries relating to the matter remain available through a variety of open-source references. Verrimus publicly stood by its technical findings and professional assessment throughout the process.
