TSCM Monitoring Systems – Caveat Emptor!!!
THERE IS NO SILVER BULLET IN TSCM
In folklore, a bullet cast from silver is often one of the few weapons that are effective against a werewolf, witch, vampire, or other monsters. The term is also a metaphor for a simple, seemingly magical, solution to a difficult problem: for example, penicillin was a silver bullet that allowed doctors to treat and successfully cure many bacterial infections.
Today, there are a number of technology manufacturers and suppliers that claim they have a product that will negate the need for TSCM surveys….Any such claims shows a NON understanding of the technical surveillance threat in 2020.
FACTS:
- Attackers don’t only use transmitters using the RF spectrum
- Attackers carry out reconnaissance before they attack
- There is no single device that can detect any attack
- Attackers are not ignorant to monitoring solutions
I’m not going to spend paragraph after paragraph here explaining how.
Instead, I’m going to do this;
- If you are one of these suppliers, blagging to sell your product, beware, we ‘out’ your spurious claims.
- If you are an end user thinking of spending your budget on one of these monitoring systems, contact Verrimus, and for FREE we will give you the right information to be able to properly assess the monitoring system that an eager salesman is trying to sell you.
Caveat Emptor
Buyer Beware
