Technical Surveillance in a US Detention Centre
Do prisons conduct TSCM? Or perhaps I should rephrase and ask -Do Prison and other detention facilities regularly and routinely check for technical surveillance devices? If not, why not? Is it lack of funding? Surely, maintaining the privacy of service users is of paramount importance. Perhaps it’s just that the Prison Service doesn’t understand what technical surveillance is and what the possible and probable attacks for their environment are.
